Does lowering resolution reduce file size?
Yes. Halving the resolution leaves a quarter of the pixels, so the file usually gets much smaller. The result list shows the new resolution and size for every image.
What does "Long edge" mean?
It sets the longer side (width or height) to the size you choose, for example 1920 px, and calculates the shorter side from the aspect ratio. Landscape and portrait photos can be resized together.
Can I resize multiple images at once?
Yes. Select several images and they are all resized with the same setting. Download them one by one or all at once.
Will resizing reduce quality?
Scaling down keeps images looking sharp on screen. Enlarging beyond the original can blur, so Long edge mode leaves smaller images at their original size.
Are my images uploaded?
No. Everything runs in your browser and your images never leave your device.
