FAQ
Can I pixelate only part of the image?
Yes β€” that is exactly what this tool is for. Drag over any area to pixelate just that region, and repeat for as many areas as you need.
Is my photo uploaded to a server?
No. All processing happens locally in your browser. Your image never leaves your device.
Can I undo a mosaic?
Before downloading, you can undo up to 8 recent steps or reset to the original. Once downloaded, the pixelation in the saved file cannot be reversed.
What pixel size should I use?
Bigger numbers hide more. Use 15–25 for faces, and 20+ for text such as names or phone numbers so it cannot be read.

How to pixelate part of a photo

Upload an image, then drag over the parts you want to hide (faces, license plates, names, addresses). Only the dragged area is pixelated. You can censor multiple areas and undo mistakes step by step. A larger pixel size hides details more strongly.

When is this useful?

Great for hiding personal info in marketplace photos, blurring bystanders before posting on social media, or masking names and numbers in screenshots. Everything runs locally in your browser, so sensitive images never leave your device.
