⚠️ This calculator is a simple reference tool based on general agricultural guidelines, recommended dilution ratios, mixing proportions and publicly available references. In real field conditions the appropriate dilution, dose and spray volume can vary with crop type and variety, growth stage, weather, soil, water quality, growing method and the quality/concentration of the materials used, so results may differ from actual needs. Pesticides, fertilizers, liquid fertilizers, microbial inputs, JADAM Sulfur, JADAM Wetting Agent and other natural/chemical materials can cause phytotoxicity, stunting, crop loss, disease or yield reduction through overuse, improper dilution or mixing with incompatible substances. Always check the product label, manufacturer guidance and relevant authorities, and test on a small area before full use. calcstool.com assumes no legal liability for any direct or indirect damage arising from manufacturing, diluting, mixing, fertilizing, spraying or other agricultural activity based on these results.
FAQ
How many rolls of mulch film do I need?
Total length = row length × number of rows × (1 + waste), divided by roll length and rounded up. e.g. ten 50m rows at 10% waste = 550m → 3 rolls of 200m.
How do I enter the film spec?
Film is sold as width × length (e.g. 90cm × 200m). Match the width to the bed and enter the roll length to get the roll count.
What waste factor?
About 10% is typical for end anchoring, overlap and loss.
