FAQ
What is keyboard ghosting?
When some presses are dropped while holding multiple keys. Basic membrane boards handle 2–6 keys; gaming keyboards offer N-key rollover. Hold several keys above and watch the max simultaneous counter.
A key doesn't register
If it never shows here, the switch contact is likely faulty — clean under the keycap or replace the switch. Power and media keys not registering is normal, as the OS intercepts them.
key vs code?
key is the produced character (layout-dependent) while code is the physical key position (like KeyA). Use code for hardware testing.
